Kindergarten Round Up: Wednesday, March 8


Parents of students turning five by September 1, 2017 are invited to Kindergarten Round Up on Wednesday, March 8 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m or from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m (come and go - a visit usually takes 20 minutes). Online pre-registration opens March 1, and we recommend that online forms be completed before March 8. Computers will be available at Kindergarten Round Up for those who cannot access the online forms from home.

Come visit Herrington on March 8 to finalize your child’s registration by bringing:

  • Proof of residence within the district (contract on the house, lease agreement, actual title to house, current RRISD tax statement, or current utility bill indicating the address and the adult’s name.)

  • Child’s official birth certificate,

  • Child’s immunization record (see requirements),

  • Child’s social security card (preferred but will not prevent enrollment),

  • You should come to registration even if you do not have all of the above information.

If online pre-registration is completed from home, then finalizing registration at Kindergarten Round Up generally takes only 15-20 minutes.
