Our Mission and Vision

The PTA of Linda Herrington Elementary plays an important role in bringing together the efforts of parents and teachers to help make Herrington the best learning environment for our children. Our PTA provides information and resources through newsletters, family programs, parent meetings, etc.

In order to be successful, we know that the support and involvement of the parents, faculty, and staff, as well as business leaders in our community will be of upmost importance. The ways you can support the PTA include:

Become a member of the Herrington PTA
Participate in events, programs or activities planned throughout the year
Become a sponsor of our organization
Provide suggestions, ideas or feedback for ways to enrich LHE PTA programs and events

PTA's Purpose

To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship;
To raise the standards of home life;
To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
To bring into closer relation the home and school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth; and
To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.
